FAQs

Who can attend?

All 9-12th graders are invited, and must attend with a youth group. Individual registrations cannot be accepted. There is no minimum group size! If you’re not sure what parish to attend with, you can select “other” and we’ll connect you with a group!

How do I register?

Individuals register and pay online and simply select which group they are coming with on their form. Registration is first come, first served, and the deadline to register is OCTOBER 31, 2024.

How much does it cost?

The cost per person for Fall Retreat 2024 is $175. We don’t want money to keep you home! Talk to your youth minister about the possibility of financial assistance. If you’re a youth minister, reach out to the retreat team for fundraising ideas - we have some good ones!

What happens during the weekend?

Check-in starts at 7 PM Friday night and wraps up around 1 PM Sunday. In between, you can expect to:

  • hang out with your friends

  • make new friends from all over Pittsburgh

  • hear inspiring talks

  • worship God, led by Jonah Soucy and the band

  • experience Adoration, Reconciliation, and Mass in a whole new way

  • stay in a cabin with the other guys or girls from your group

  • dance party on Saturday night (2024 theme is BLACK AND YELLOW)

Where is it?

Camp Allegheny is located at 140 Jenkins Circle, Ellwood City, PA. 110 acres are nestled along Slippery Rock Creek, with fields for sports, a gym, a cafeteria, Gaga ball, a petting zoo (seriously!), a gathering space big enough for 400 people, a rec center with foosball and ping pong, and cabins for every group (every cabin has its own showers and bathrooms, twin beds, and a separate room with bathroom for that group’s adult leaders) - scroll down to see it on the map!
